Ancoats goes car-free!

Designed by Tim Groom Architects, the Great Ancoats scheme will deliver a high quality, car-free apartment scheme over eight floors on a site on the corner of Port Street and Great Ancoats Street. The 134 apartment scheme is Mulbury City’s first foray into the Manchester PRS market.

SK Transport Planning was appointed to assess the suitability of the site to operate without any parking and to develop a strategy to not only to promote the site through planning, but to also assist future residents to truly live without needing to own a car.

The proposal was granted planning permission in September 2015.
