SK Transport Planning has been appointed to advise UCLan on the transport impact of the development of a new Engineering Innovation Centre on the Preston Campus. The £30 million scheme will deliver a state-of-the-art facility that complements UCLan’s location at the heart of one of the most intensive engineering and manufacturing areas in the UK. The Centre will create new space for teaching, research and knowledge exchange, and an internationally competitive facility to bring together the region’s industrial and academic experience.
SK Transport Planning is advising the project team on transport, traffic and accessibility effects, and producing the transport documents for the imminent planning submission.
