SK retained by Salboy for Castle Irwell housing scheme

SK was appointed by the University of Salford in 2018 to assist with the submission of an outline planning application for the redevelopment of its Castle Irwell site. This resulted in planning consent being granted for up to 500 dwellings, a new school and 2,323sqm of commercial space.

SK has been retained by Salboy, the purchaser of the site, to provide continued input into the reserved matters applications. The architect for the scheme is now Calderpeel, with EKPS retained as planner.
